When You Need Urgent Lock Replacement

How We Select and Install a New Lock
Before the visit, it helps to send:
- a photo of the lock from the outside;
- a photo of the inside of the door;
- a photo of the door leaf edge;
- the housing markings;
- cylinder dimensions if known;
- a brief description of the issue.
From photos we can often determine the mechanism type in advance and prepare suitable options. On site, the technician takes measurements, checks the mounting hole, and tests the handle, escutcheon, and strike plate.
After agreeing on the model, the old lock is removed without unnecessary widening of the holes, if the construction allows it. The new mechanism is installed to size, and bolt movement is checked with the door both open and closed.
